Dr. Brooke Porter grew up in the Mid-cities area. She graduated from Richland High School in 1986. She was a member of the award-winning Dixie Belle’s drill team. Dr. Porter graduated from the University of North Texas in 1992 with her undergraduate degree, and in 1996, she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Baylor in Dallas. She married her college sweetheart Lee in 1993. Brooke and Lee have two daughters Madison and Gracie. The Porter family lives in Azle and attends Ash Creek Baptist Church.
Dr. Porter is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. She was awarded her pin in 2007. The Academy of General Dentistry only awards the pin to dentists who complete more than 500 hours of continuing education and pass a 400-question exam.

Dr. Seth Atkins completed his undergrad hours at Texas Tech University. He attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and awards in prosthodontics, periodontics and implant dentistry. Atkins earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2008.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the Forth Worth District Dental Society.
Dr. Atkins and his wife, Erica, have a son, Caden, and a daughter, Harper.

Melisa is Azle Dental Care. She has worked with Dr. Porter since 1997. When you called to ask a question about anything, you probably spoke with Melisa. When you called to ask another question, you surely spoke with Melisa. When you finally called to set your appointment, more than likely you asked for Melisa.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Brad. They have two rambunctious boys, Cayden and Gavin.

Teryn is our patient advocate. If you have any type of concern about your visit or a simple question on how to fill in a form, Teryn is your girl. Teryn is from Azle and worked for years at Star National Bank.
She is mommy to Cooper.
Desiray is our hygiene coordinator. She keeps our three hygienists rocking. If you need your teeth cleaned, talk to Desiray. She knows the quickest ways to get you in and get you out.
Desiray has three kids that keep her busy. One of her crazy goals in life is - to win a poetry slam contest.
Marci will check you out. She will make sure you have all your paper work up to date, your next appointment scheduled, and your hair combed or lipstick on straight. She’s good. Marci has been in dentistry for over twelve years. She’s also a certified dental assistant; so if you have any questions you didn’t ask the doctor, feel free to ask Marci.
Marcie is married to Nic, and they have two kids, Tyler and Amee.
Cara assists Dr. Porter during procedures. She has been a dental assistant since 2000. Cara takes pride in the relationships she makes and maintains at Azle Dental Care. She always has a smile and warm hello for everyone she meets.
Cara has a daughter named Avery.
Delanna is our tightrope walker. She balances the entire office. Delanna keeps the physical patient flow moving. If she misses a day, the entire team plays catch-up for the rest of the week.
At home, she manages a brood of five: Brandon, Gabe, Morgan, Gavin, and Garrison.
Jamie is our middle hygienist. She is married to Steve. They have a beautiful daughter, Landry. In 2002, Jamie completed her four-year Dental Hygiene degree from Texas Women’s University in Denton.
She loves to shop First Mondays in Canton.
Teri is our newest addition to the Azle Dental Care hygiene department. She graduated from the Tarrant County College RDH program in 2005. Teri returned to TCC this year to help teach radiology. Yes, we are very proud of her.
The Professor is married to Ryan and is mommy to Devin, Averi, and Owen.
Cappy is our senior hygienist. She is well known in dental hygiene circles because she writes professionally for the national dental hygiene magazine, RDH.
Cappy received a hygiene alumni award from Tarrant County College, and she was honored at the 2005 hygiene conference in Chicago for her dedication to oral hygiene.
She grew up in Granbury and is married to Ricky. They have two daughters, Daltry and Lily.
