For Your Comfort
At Azle Dental Care, we have invested in the best technology to create a comfortable experience for our patients. In each enclosed treatment room you will find a plush leather patient chair, an overhead television featuring cable and the Internet. You will always have a caring dental assistant sitting beside you to answer any questions you may have while waiting for the doctor.
We have also taken the time to research what our patients like and do not like. We have taken steps to address each issue, as well as we can.
X-rays
Azle Dental Care has been “digital” since 2001. Because we use digital x-rays, we take fewer pictures, so you are exposed for less time.
Impression Putty
In the last year, we have invested in an Itero. It’s a new system for creating or mapping teeth. The Itero makes it easy to create a digital picture of a single tooth or quadrant of the mouth. This digital picture is then sent to a lab where a replacement is created and shipped to us for permanent placement. We still have to make a temporary as we wait for your tooth to be made, but the impression putty tastes much better than in the past. It is clear, not so thick and has a much better taste.
Dental Office Smell
Our front and back office staff work very had to ensure our new million-dollar facility always smells new and fresh. We diligently work to hold off the sterile smell of most dental offices. Remember, we went to other dentists at one time, too.
Injection
The elephant in the room. Dr. Porter and Dr. Atkins are constantly working to ensure the quickest, easiest way to put your nerves to sleep. Dr. Porter has been very successful with a technique she adapted from Baylor School of Dentistry in Dallas. During her twelve years in practice, her patients agree with her technique.
